On Thursday, June 10, some 25 members of the Western New York group attended a luncheon at the University Club. Our guest was Elmer Lampe, coach of basketball, who entertained us with an account of the accomplishments of last season's basketball team and the prospects of the football team for this fall. After the luncheon, and with the help of Horace Taylor '23, projectionist extraordinary, Lampe showed movies of last year's Harvard and Penn football games and gave us a running commentary on the plays.

Present at the luncheon were:

Harold March '10 Red Riley '36 Barney Thielscher 'l7 Lew Harriman '38 Ed Felt '18 Hobe Rockwell '38 Don Scully 'lB Oscar Acer '40 Heber Ashley '99 John McDonald '40 Chet Gale '19 Jack Cowan '40 Herm Oliver '22 Ed Marlette '41 Conny Kurtz '25 Bob McLaughry '44 Herb Darling '26 Bob Anthony '45 Paul Venneman '26 D. M. Anthony '48 Hugh Johnson'30 John Loveland'49 John Metzger '34 J. A. Oliver '50 David March (Drake Univ. '49)

On Tuesday, June 29, some twenty Dartmouth stalwarts attended the annual CornellDartmouth Michigan Pennsylvania golf outing at the Transit Valley Country Club. The efforts of the Big Green golfers, captained by John Cheney '30, were adequate but the Michigan team play proved superior. As a result, the "Wailing Bowl" will rest in Michigan hands until next year. A grand dinner, prizes for everyone and a song-fest concluded the day's festivities and a swell time was had by all.

In Hanover for a 1926 reunion the weekend of August 28, Charlie Abbott and your secretary encountered Burt Gale '17 and OssieSiegfried '22, who were also vacationing in the north woods.

The regular monthly luncheons at the Buffalo Athletic Club will be resumed on September 28. Plan now to attend these luncheons on the last Tuesday of each month.
