Our classmate, Frederick B. Eaton, passed away at Boothbay Harbor, Maine, on July 13. In College he was a member of Alpha Delta Phi. Eaton was a contestant in many prize speaking events and on account of his forensic activities was nicknamed "the Senator" by his classmates. After graduating he studied Law at Cornell and practiced law for some time in Rochester, New York, and afterwards was in the real estate business at St. Petersburg, Florida. Since his going to Florida your secretary has had no information about him. If any member of 1896 has more facts concerning him or knows of any surviving relatives, please notify your Secretary in order that he can prepare an obituary notice for the ALUMNI MAGAZINE.
A letter from Tom Ham states that he has enjoyed the summer working in his garden and that he had a bountiful harvest this fall. He also wrote that he had eliminated all the weed pests in his own lawn, and that of his son in Brookline. Tom was always a hard worker at whatever he undertook.
