After this issue I will turn over the very pleasant task of writing the class notes to PhilStedfast, who will be our Class Notes Editor in my absence. I am now employed by the International Basic Economy Corporation and on December 28 1 am off for a few days in Miami and then an extended trip to Venezuela and other Latin American Republics. Let's all give Phil plenty of cooperation by keeping those letters coming in to him at the Psi U House, Hanover.

The number one pastime for the members of the Class of 1946 still seems to be getting engaged and then married. Further proof of this fact is the following: Dick Turk and Jacqueline Dole will be married out in California in December. Dick graduated from Johns Hopkins Medical School and is now interning at Alameda, California TomWebb and Verity Voight were married on September 25 in Montclair, N. J. Tom attended Babson Institute in Wellesley Hills after graduating from Dartmouth BobAdamson was married to Dorothy Fitch in September. The Adamsons took a wedding trip to Denmark and now Bob is doing graduate work at the University of Copenhagen. Don Forgays, who is now studying for his Ph.D. at McGill, recently became engaged to Janet Wakefield Claude Venon and Joanne McCoy have made plans for a November wedding. Claude is a member of the faculty at the Columbia Grammar School DonGile and Helen Condon were married in September and are now making their home in Hanover...... Phil Osberg and Priscilla June Hallam were married August 14. Phil is now studying for his doctor's degree in geology at Harvard Another September wedding was that of Horace Macartney to Mary Jane Baker of Manhasset, Long Island HankLumbard is now back in Hanover with his new wife, the former Wilda Burton Hamilton Bailey and Nancy Kitselman took the vows earlier in the fall and are now making their home in Chestnut Hill, Mass Another '46'er back on the campus with a new bride is George Swick. George married Lois Smith of West Caldwell, N. J. Graham Brush, now learning the shipping business from the bottom of a hold up, was one of the ushers.

According to the "Dartmouth's In Town Again board at the Hanover Inn we note that the following members of the Class have been in town: Bob McDonald; Mr. and Mrs.O. D. Griff en from Sylvania, Ohio; J. P.Bruemmer and wife were up from New Britain, Conn.; and S. E. Gately the Third.

In an interesting article in The New YorkTimes we note that Don Behnken is one of three fellows making his home in a 42-foot boat, docked at the foot of East 23rd Street, while taking his Master's at Columbia. Speaking of unusual experiences, another one is that of Don Wales, who is now back in Hanover for his senior year. Don spent the summer working with the U. S. Weather Bureau in the Arctic first disassembling an automatic weather station at Dundas Harbor on Devon Island, and later at Resolute Bay where they set up a weather station on Cornwallis Island.

Had a nice letter from Bill Schulting, who is now working with his dad in the real estate and insurance business. Bill hears from BobJones regularly, and he is trying to keep Jonesie posted on the actions of the Big Green football team. Bob, by the way, is now studying at the Sorbonne in Paris Received another newsy card from a very lovely lady that had the following news to report: ChanBowen is now studying for his M.D. at the University of Michigan after spending the summer traveling in England and on the Continent. Chan also picked up his M.S. from the University of Colorado Mai and Sue McLane are making their home at 10 Charlbury Road, Oxford, England. Mal is studying at Oxford as a Rhodes scholar. According to the latest reports they've just bought a third pair of skis, because there'll be another McLane to go skiing with them in the Alps next spring.

On this happy note I'll bring this column to an end by wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
