Just to prove that one is only so old as he feels, Carroll Dwight recently contracted the mumps. He is making a good recovery and is able to be back at business, although on a part-time schedule for the present. He admits it would have been better to have had -them when a youngster, if for no other reason, so that he could have stayed out of school.

On a rather vague tip from Haskell Cohn, I spent an hour or so at the public library scanning issues of The New York Times over a two weeks' period to learn that on or about December 9, H. O. Holland, was appointed director of sales of Automatic Steel Products, Inc. which recently changed its name from Automatic Products Corporation of Canton, Ohio. Mary, if Oz was too modest to do so, why didn't you tell me about this?

For twenty-five years Dick Willis has been a representative of the Manchester (N. H.) general agency of the New England Mutual Life Insurance Company. In that time Dick has done well as evidenced by his membership in the Million Dollar Round Table and in the Leaders Association, an honorary organization of life underwriters. This information came from the company, not from Dick.

Lloyd Barnard was promoted in December to assistant vice president of the Central Hanover Bank and Trust Company of New York. His connection with that institution dates back to 1930 and he is presently banking officer at the Plaza Office, Fifth Avenue and 60th Street. This information was pried from the public relations department of the bank after a tip from Stan Miner.

What your correspondent has to do to ferret out newsl Here and now I appeal to wives of my classmates. So little has been forthcoming that I am forced to conclude that the classmates themselves are not to be depended upon as sources of information. So, query to all the Little Women: "What's cookin'?"
