This month's issue of the MAGAZINE announces the fine news that our class has again distinguished itself in Alumni Fund competition in the Little Green Derby. The final push provided by Class Agent Scully and his cohorts was sufficient to boost our standing from last place, only two weeks before the final whistle, to a position well ahead of the other classes competing in our group. However the records provide the disappointing but still reassuring information that 40% of the class participated in this victory with their donations.

Announcements of the personnel for the U. S. Olympic Hockey team contain the names of seven former Dartmouth players, among whom are Bruce Mather, Bruce Cunlifje,Ralph Warburton, and Manny Benero. Further Dartmouth representation in the news appears with the selection of AI Colton of our class as one of the three Dartmouth men chosen to study abroad for two years as Rhodes Scholars.

Our lone engagement announcement this month comes from Sunnybank, Lewes, Delaware, where Miss Anne Thompson Marshall has been engaged to Alfred Graves. Miss Marshall is currently a senior at Harcum Junior College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, while AI, a graduate of Dartmouth last June, is back in Hanover working for his Master's degree. The couple expect to be married early next summer.

Pete Estin is now in his second year at . the Harvard Graduate School, studying Russian with a small group. He was in Franconia recently and saw many Dartmouth friends. Manny Benero recently saw Bruce Mather and Ralph Warburton in Boston during their tryouts for the previously mentioned Olympic competition.

John Halpin is living in Takoraa Park, Maryland, and working for the National Institute of Public Affairs. Lans Mc.Gill is at the University of New Hampshire teaching and studying for his A.M. Ed O'Rourke is working with the Smith Barney & Co. on Wall Street. Sam Piedrahita is now living in Bogota, Colombia (South America). Dick Perkins is working as a draftsman for the editorial department of The Worcester Evening Gazette.

Former treasurer Charlie Tourtellotte, a senior at the University of Southern California Medical School, will be graduating next June. After that, he plans to intern at the Los Angeles County General Hospital. Charlie is working part time evenings at a blood bank in Glendale, but still finds time to enjoy skiing, and the nearby beaches and nurses. He plans to fly east for two weeks next summer between graduation and internship for a visit with his family and friends.
