THE ANNUAL WINTER MEETING OF THE DARTMOUTH CLUB of New Britain was held January 3, at the Hotel Sheraton. Undergraduates home for the holidays were invited to be the guests of the Club. After a hearty meal, Curt Sheldon '09 spoke briefly about the Hopkins Center plans. The undergraduates who attended were then asked to give their individual reactions to affairs at Hanover so far this year. It was the consensus of opinion that the re-awakened Dartmouth spirit was the most newsworthy of items on the 1947 Hanover scene.
At the election of officers of the club, HenryT. Powers '22 was named president for a three-year term. Harold H. Tayntor '22 was elected to succeed himself as vice president for a two-year term.
