Quite recently he moved from Lynn, Mass., where he had taught in the Eastern Junior High School and a number of primary schools for 25 years, to Swampscott in order to be with a sister. His death reduces the number of living graduates to eight.
Dr. Edwin H. Allen, who has been practically blind for several months from cataracts, had them removed on December 1 and is now rejoicing in renewed sight with the help of glasses which he received January 17. Because of the much delayed installation of a new furnace in his Boston home he has been obliged to stay in Linwood, Mass., until March 1.
Lorrain Weeks is growing younger day by day. He no longer uses glasses even in threading a needle, his most difficult task, which, being a bachelor, he cannot delegate to the customary button sewer of the family. His language in describing the condition of the streets of New York is both vigorous and refreshing.
Dr. and Mrs. E. P. Buchanan (Marion Bayley) have been spending a short holiday at Pompano Beach, Florida.
