Two classes holding reunions Commencement weekend, the 50-year and 25-year classes, took top honors for attendance at reunions this year. With 23 of its 33 living graduates present, the Class of 1898 compiled 70 percentage points to win the Class of 1894 Cup. In second place was 1908, which reuned the following weekend and had 63 of its 142 living graduates back for a percentage of 44.
With a total attendance of 161 alumni, the Class of 1923 received the Class of 1930 Cup for the largest number of men at reunion. Runner-up was the Class of 1938 which had a total of 145 men back on the weekend of June 18-20.
The official reunion attendance figures were taken as of 10 a.m. on Saturday morning of each weekend. 1923 later had 174 men present and although this total has been exceeded in the past, its overall attendance of 458, including wives and children, is by far a reunion record.
