Robert P. "Whitey" Fuller '37, director of publicity for the Dartmouth College Athletic Council, has accepted the position of Assistant to the Publishers of the recently merged Ski News and Ski Illustrated and will end his DCAC duties on September 1, it was announced last month.

To succeed Whitey as publicity director, the Athletic Council has chosen Roger K. Wolbarst '43, sports writer for The Washington Post, William H. McCarter '19, director of athletics, has announced.

As the friend of a host of sports editors and writers, Whitey Fuller is one of the best known and most popular figures in the field of college sports publicity. He has several times been cited for his outstanding work, especially in connection with football; and this past year he received the commendation of the National s Ski Association for his promotion of interest in children's skiing. His active interest and participation in the development of skiing has grown during the 11 years that he has held his DCAC post, and in his new position with Ski News and Ski Illustrated he enters a field for which he has enthusiasm and wide knowledge.

Whitey served as Lieutenant Commander in the Naval Reserve during
