Although South Florida is supposed to be vacationland, we also have to relax a bit and as a result our group has been pretty well scattered this summer. However we have been able to keep a representative group in town all summer. For instance at our July 6 luncheon we played host to the new Dartmouth freshmen, Robert T. Pierce, Charles Aye and John Hayashi, as well as undergraduates Allan Loehr and Charles Packard, both of Ft. Lauderdale. The undergraduates were able to give the new men some pointers and bring the rest of us up to date on Hanover news.

For the August luncheon Norm Brandt '41 gave us a treat in the form of some travel pictures. More new faces and it looks like we will have to move to larger quarters.

This summer we have had the misfortune of losing two of our members by death. BobElsworth '24 passed away early this summer and Nelson Black Jr. '35 a short time later as a result of a war contracted malady.

The Club extends an invitation to any visiting Dartmouth man to be sure to contact Milt Patterson in care of Pan American Airways or C. T. Garnsey at his home and be sure to plan to attend luncheon if you are in the vicinity on the first Wednesday of every month at the Seven Seas Restaurant, Miami, Fla!
