On Sept. 8 a luncheon was held in honor of the four local boys entering Dartmouth. A fine sendoff was given to the new Dartmouth men of the Northwest.

After our inactive summer months, there is little news to report, exc'ept that progress is being made on our Sam L. Barnes Memorial Scholarship Fund, which is still open for anyone wishing to contribute to this remembrance of Sam.

A summer picnic this year was foregone in favor of a Football Rally to be held this fall with some other Eastern college.

Meetings are planned throughout the balance of this year on the third Friday of each month.
