As the result of a very enjoyable time spent last tall at Stellafane, home of the Springfield Telescope Makers Club, there was an almost unanimous demand for a repeat performance this year.

Accordingly on Thursday night, Sept. 29, a capacity crowd gathered for a steak dinner arranged by Hartness Beardsley '37. The meal was exceptionally good and the fellowship, as usual, left nothing to be desired.

There was no formal program but the whole crowd sat around the fireplace discussing almost every possible topic, the highlight of the evening being a preview given by OsFitts '26 of his forthcoming speech as President of the Vermont Bar Association.

As usual the crowd lingered on into the night, the only question being "how soon shall we meet again?"

Those present included George Liscomb '07, Charles Safford 'OB, Doc Woodman '12. Henry Flinn '14, Andrew McClary '16, Ray Adams '19, Dick Beyer '22, Stuart Eldredge '24, Junior Bryant '25, Justin Bugbee '25. Dugan O'Leary '26, Os Fitts '26, Ed Phelps '29, Dick Butterfield '30, Pete Wilcomb '30, Steve Williams '31, Bud Titcomb '36, Duncan Hunter '36, Hartness Beardsley '37, John Lovely '37, Phil White '37, Ed Grethe '38, Alvin Battison '48, Caleb Brown '48.
