About 50 alumni and guests of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Vermont gathered at the Hotel Barre in Barre on Thursday evening, October 20, for the association's annual meeting. President Ralph E. Noble '23 of Barre presided.

Karl Michael '29, swimming coach at the College, was the main speaker of the evening and talked on the plans and problems of a swimming coach in present-day intercollegiate competition, as well as bringing the meeting an up-to-date review of the athletic situation at the College.

Dr. A. J. Oberlander '26 of Northfield, a member of the Alumni Council, spoke briefly and Charles E. Crane. '06 of Montpelier entertained the group with some little known historical facts about the College.

In the business meeting, Spencer E. Norton '28, of Vergennes was elected President for the coming year. Lewis A. Putnam '23 of Barre was named first vice-president; RobertNoble '14 of South Royalton, second vicepresident; Ray Adams '19 of Springfield, third vice-president; and Laurence C. Campbell '22 of Barre, Secretary-Treasurer.

Tentative plans for a spring meeting in Hanover were made.
