Granville Howard is living on in the hotel which he sold a few years ago. His brother Elmer's son is continuing garage, coal and other business interests. The Kellys are back in St. Petersburg for their 15th winter. The Newtons returned to Winter Park, Fla., early in the fall and are carrying a heavy cultural program. Ned Ross called on the Kellys at Greensboro, Vt., last summer, feeling pretty good after his serious illness. Mrs. Ross has recovered also. Their daughter Helen has bought a house in Danville, now quite a summer resort.
Rose, who has been an invalid for years, is up every day and keenly interested in current affairs, especially political and religious. Philbrook has sold his home in Santa Cruz and, since the death of his wife last year, has gone to Los Angeles to live with his daughter.
Burley gave everyone a scare in December, but after two weeks in the hospital returned to his usual office in the factory apparently OK again.
The secretary expects to send out a circular letter to the members and their co-contributors to the Alumni Fund soon after the new year with more detailed news about each one.
As we go to press Newton is in the Florida Sanitarium and Hospital at Orlando with a severe attack of bronchial asthma. If he failed to write anyone of the 'B6 family at Christmas this will account for it.
