The combination of Herb Harwood's excellent programs, George's good food, and the fine Dartmouth fellowship is causing a good steady increase in attendance at our Tuesday luncheons. Some of our old timers who have been away too long are coming back and at recent meetings we have had the pleasure of welcoming back into the fold: Ralph Britton '17, Arthur Cox '42, C. M. Bishop '06, Larry Vermillion '26, Bill Woodruff '31, Chan Walker '25, and Herb Woods '10.

We continued our series of talks by headmasters of the local preparatory schools and had a most interesting talk by Edwin C. Zavitz, Headmaster of Friends School. The talk on "The Riddle of Russia" by Prof. Charles Tansil brought up so much discussion that we had Mr. Spencer Barnes of the State Department as our guest speaker to give us a little different viewpoint on this weighty subject. Then our own Howland Sargent '32 of the State Department gave us an excellent talk on his work with the Voice of America program. Lack of time prevented us from having a question and answer session but we hope Howie will be back with us soon again for a discussion period. As a tribute to Howie the Class of 1932 had a big turnout. Present were: Mike Isaacs, Charles Odegaard, Jim Wakelin, Mike Cardozo, Bill Brister, Don MacPhail, Bainbridge Davis, Ben Burch, and Bob McGuire.

The Bowling Team is driving hard for the championship of the Intercollegiate League. Frank M. Curtis Jr. '36, has bolstered the squad. Captain Ed Macutchen still desires new talent for the varsity. Pressure is currently being put on Karl M. Dollak '35 to dust off his bowling arm and help the varsity in their drive.

Be sure and save Wednesday, March 30th and Monday, April 25 th for the Dartmouth Club of Washington's big Spring Double Header! On the first date we will meet at the Shoreham Hotel to hear the Glee Club in another of their wonderful concerts and will follow this with a dance. Rad Hibben '43 is making the arrangements with the hotel for this affair, Lowell Haas '35 is arranging for the orchestra, and Ben Burch '32 is handling the publicity.

Then on the latter date, April 25th, under the direction of William Howe '30, we will have our Annual Spring Dinner with President John S. Dickey '29 and George Colton '35 making the long trek from Hanover to be our guest speakers.
