Late winter Dartmouth activities in the Hartford area were climaxed by a top-notch annual meeting held February 17 at the Hartford Golf Club. With more than sixty alumni present, the meeting featured a fine talk by Eddie Chamberlain '36 who gave a re-cap of the current athletic and academic picture at Hanover. Football movies of the 1948 season were also shown indicating that the Dig Green had possession of the ball for sixty-one minutes per game.

Club officers elected at the annual meeting were: Francis T. Femi Jr. '37, president; Robert M. MacGregor '38 and Bruce W. Manternach '37, vice presidents; John S. Wyper '42, secretary; and William G. Bates '33, treasurer.

All arrangements have now been completed for one of the most outstanding alumni meetings ever to be held in Connecticut. With the Hartford Club in the role of host, the Connecticut State Meeting will be held at the Indian Hill Country Club, Newington, Conn., on May 19. Guest speakers will include President Dickey and Ross McKenney. All members of the following Connecticut clubs are cordially invited to attend: Bridgeport, Eastern Connecticut, Hartford, New Britain, New Haven, Western Connecticut, and Waterbury. Golfing arrangements have been provided for Dartmouth men during the afternoon of the 19th.
