Cincinnati

The executive committee of the Dartmouth Club of Cincinnati met at Lew Johnstone's ('41) on April 14. A dinner meeting was scheduled for May 11 for the election of new officers and the executive committee prepared a list of nominees for the year 1949-50. A gettogether with Pennsylvania and Cornell is planned for the month of June and promises to be a good picnic. It will revive a custom which was established before the war in meeting with alumni of the other colleges.

The Dartmouth Club of Cincinnati wishes to congratulate the following men who were accepted for admission to the College this fall; John George Avril, Barry Chapman Bishop, Donald David Brown, John Philip Goldsberry Jr., Ralph Edmond Hevman, Templeton willis Martin Jr., and Robert Theodore McConaughy. We should all be very proud of the fact that 7 out of 12 applicants were accepted from the Greater Cincinnati Area.

This will be my last set of alumni notes and I wish to express my pleasure in being able to present each month some news of local Dartmouth interest.
