ANNUAL DlNNER—Another fiscal year was completed April 29 when the formalities of a "By-Lawless" organization rolled by. At this evening meeting 80 Dartmouth men "accepted" the following slate: President, RobertA. White '41; Vice President, Robert B. Allen '33; Secretary-Treasurer, B. L. Winslow '2O.

A span of 75 years was represented by the men present from various classes, 1878 to 1953. Walter Hayt '7B from Sacramento was first on the sign-up which ended with a half-dozen of the fortunates accepted for next fall. Attending the annual' dinner has been a ritual with Walter for many, many years. He had to forego the trip last year, but is now back on the schedule and he plans to be a regular once more. He was 92 years old last month and looks 20 years younger. He smoked his usual cigar after dinner and kept right up with all the points of political, financial, and athletic consequence during the evening.

We were fortunate in having Dave Bradley '3B, home from Washington, D. C. and way points, to give us his views on our future, with due recognition of the Atom Bomb. His formal talk was followed by questions which were quickly and effectively answered.

Comments by John R. McLane 'O7, Trustee °f the College, from Manchester, N. H., were as always, enthusiastic. All sides of Dartmouth Problems were presented and we all left the Meeting feeling well informed and confident that all is well in Hanover.
