The first monthly luncheon of the season was held Thursday, October 5, at the Hope Club, Providence, with 23 present.

President George Tillinghast '36 presided and outlined tentative plans for the coming year. We were fortunate in having "Gus"Zitrides '39 as our speaker. For the benefit of the uninitiated, "Gus" is the new head foot- ball coach at Brown, and gave the group an interesting talk on the present status of Ivy- League football for the coming season.

Regular monthly luncheons will be held this season on the first Thursday of each month at the Hope Club. All alumni will be most welcome.
