The Dartmouth Club of Holyoke met for luncheon every Monday noon during the football season. This luncheon was held at the Yankee Pedlar, which is located on the College Highway, Route 5, and is owned and operated bv our incoming Secretary, EugeneTamburri '36.
At each meeting we received a report concerning the game of the preceding Saturday from those members who had seen the team play. Our season was highlighted by a celebration after our victory over Cornell, and at that time a group picture was taken (see cut).
Stuart A. "Stew" Russell '19 was recently honored by receiving the "William Dwight Award," which is annually presented to a citizen of the City of Holyoke who has rendered outstanding service to the city.
November 14 we elected our officers for the coming year as follows: President, Prentiss B.Gallup '24; Secretary, Eugene Tamburri '36; Executive Committee—Edward O'Conner '18, Louis Oldershaw '39, A. E. Sheldon '16, and E. C. Tucker '13.
Our next meeting is to be held early in the new year, at which time we shall have as our guest speaker a member of the football coaching stafE.
