The records speak for themselves. Class Agent Ed Scully's Alumni Fund Drive has '47 breathing down the neck of the Little Green Derby leaders.

The Chadwell household has been slightly disrupted lately with the early arrival of 2 baby girl, Louisa, on the 27th of January.

Lloyd King is a civil service employee, working as a physicist at the research laboratory in China Lake, Calif, in the Exterior Ballistics Branch concerned with the experimental and theoretical study of the behavior of spin-stabilized rockets. Lloyd will return to school soon to work for his master's degree.

Townes Harris, living in Providence, R. 1., will plan our first Hanover reunion in 1951- As Reunion Chairman, he will soon begin work with a sizable committee to prepare '47, and Hanover, for our summer reunion in 1951. Townes is working in the Tax Department of the R. I. Hospital Trust Cos.

The former Miss Janet Louise Lehmer and Chuck Howard were to be married February 2 at Marietta, Ohio. Recent engagement announcements are Miss Ruth Byerly to GrantTinker; Miss Eleanor Lebenthal to GerryBissinger; Miss Anne-Starr Griscom Holmes to Charles White. Grant is working with the National Broadcasting Company and Gerry with the advertising firm of William H. Weintraub & Cos.

Visitors at the Hanover Inn during January were Willard Wood, Ray Radsley, Ensignand Mrs. John Cartwright and Mr. and Mrs.Don Baisley.

Jerry Kirchmer, living in Rutherford, N. J., is selling for a small company called "Emjay" which does sandblasting, waterproofing, acidproofing, metalizing and other types of plant maintenance work. Jerry is attending N.Y.U. Graduate School of Business Administration, majoring in Marketing and working towards his M.B.A. in 1951. Dick Jacques graduated in February from the University of Michigan with a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Geology. Dick will return to work with his old company, The Geotechnical Corporation of Dallas, Texas, and is scheduled to report to a field office in Alberta, Canada.

Johnny laniri is a salesman representing a children's underwear manufacturer, selling to chain stores. Ed Jacobs is happily married, has a young son Bruce and is selling for a Fine Gold Jewelry Manufacturing concern. Ed's other activities include flying private planes and playing tournament tennis. JohnKaufman is engaged in the practice of law in association with Bilder, Bilder & Kaufman in Newark, N. J. "The Flame" Doug Jordan contemplates entering the fields of Anthropology, specifically Archeology, and expects to enter graduate school for study for his master's degree this fall.

Tom Hurst will finish work on his master's degree at Columbia University (T.C.) this coming summer. At the present he is teaching Physics, Mechanical Drawing, and General Science at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N. H., and coaching football as an assistant to Larry Bartnick. Eddie Howard is at the Army Signal School in Fort Monmouth, N. J. Eddie graduated from West Point this past summer and for the past months has been at Fort Riley, Kansas.

Bob Albrecht is a management trainee with W. T. Grant Cos. in Winona, Minn. Ralph Bachwich is retailing in Minneapolis, Minn.

Al Bildner reports the good news that about 70% of '47s in the New York Regional group have responded to the self-addressed return post cards recently distributed with an introductory letter. Al, Norm Falkin andFritz Alexander will soon have new plans to announce. The Bildners and Pete Estin met by chance at Stowe, Vt. recently and were interested in each other's plans regarding the regional class organizations.
