Three of the '85 family members will be unable to join our 65th reunion because of conflicting dates at Mt. Holyoke, Princeton and Amherst. Mrs. Charles F. Chase is attend- ing her 50th reunion at Mt. Holyoke; Mrs. E. P. Buchanan (Marion Bayley) has a son, Eustace, graduating at Princeton and Prof. Beatrice Allard Brooks' son, Frank, gets his degree at Amherst. It is unfortunate that four colleges in which '85 has such an interest should have their commencement exercises on the same weekend.
Prof. Brooks has been given a year's leave of absence from Western College, Oxford, Ohio, in order to lecture on Biblical History at Wellesley. Her son, Frank, will enter Hartford Theological Seminary in the fall.
Bayley Buchanan, who as a small boy used to attend our reunions in the company of his grandfather, Edwin A. Bayley, is serving his two-year term in the Navy and is stationed at Portsmouth, Va., Naval Hospital.
Do not. forget that six '85 men have imperative dates in Hanover, June 9, 10 and 11, 1950.
