Norman Cushman underwent an operation at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston on March 2. His wife Madeline reports that he is now home from the hospital and making slow but satisfactory progress.

'07 is on the move. New '07 addresses are numerous. The following have reported address changes to the Alumni Office: HerbHinman, Walter Nesmith, Tom Perry, BillWalker, Rocky Hazen and Charles Staples.

Professor Jim O'Neill, Chairman of the Department of Speech at Brooklyn College, spoke recently on "Catholics and American Freedom" at Hunter College in New York. His lecture was sponsored by the Newman Clubs of New York.

Duke Sanborn reports a new address alsoat 48 Clearway Street, Boston.

Belatedly we report that Perley W.Churchill, Berlin, N. H., has been appointed Committee Chairman in his area for the 1949"195° program for interviewing candidates for admission to Dartmouth.

Charles Beals, son of our Charles who died last August, has sent his father's Phi Beta Kappa key to the Baker Library where it will be a memorial to our classmate.

Dick Southgate enjoyed (?) a week in February in Dick Hall's House as an impatient patient. His disability was a minor fracture.

Treasurer Sam Bartlett and Secretary DickLane have taken upon themselves the responsibility for a modest contribution from the '07 treasury to the Sam Barnes Dartmouth Fund.

Harry Romayne, whose death last January in Elmira, N. Y., is reported in the In Memoriarn column, was a successful educator and a lovable and much-loved person. Born in Milo, N. Y., he returned to that state soon after graduation and devoted most of his mature life to teaching and administration in Elmira schools. Closely identified with his church, he was also a leader in the local Boy Scouts organization, and a past-president of the Kiwanis Club and a former director of the Association of Commerce. His widow is Mrs. Minnie McDuffee Romayne, and his son Rodman, a graduate of Purdue in electrical engineering, is associated with the Illinois Bell Telephone Company in Chicago. Classmates will remember Harry as a quiet, hard working man who served as night clerk in the Hanover Inn. He was 67 years old when he died.

Bob Kenyon has recently enjoyed four weeks in Florida and attended the Alumni Dinner in St. Petersburg early in March with Allan Brown and Guy Dudley.

Bishop Niles and his wife have been sojourning at the Hillsboro Club at Pompano Beach, I la.

Dick and Lucy Lane have spent their late winter vacation at The Cloister, Sea Island, Ga.
