We received a complaint last month from an unexpected quarter. A Mt. Holyoke alumna, circa 1943, reported that we never seem to mention members of the class which she knew while in college. We had been aware of the fact that this column is some- times read by the wives of '43ers, but this was the first time that we realized our monthly offerings were being scanned by those who want to find out what became of their old Winter Carnival dates. (The lady complainant, incidentally, is married to an Amherst man).

Having cited this example of expanded readership, we now turn to the news at hand—still in good supply we are happy to say.
