IN OUR ABBREVIATED July issue space was not available for an adequate announcement of the William Jewett Tucker Foundation, which may well prove to be one of the most significant actions of President Dickey's administration. This month, the background and purposes of the Foundation are described more fully in the article The Moral Supportsof Education (Page 18). A preview of the Big Green football team, the story of the highly successful Class Fund year, and a memoir of the late Prof. Percy Bartlett 'ooM, who died this summer, are also included.
