Henry O. Cushman. A telephone call from Miss Ellen Cushman on January 21 surprised me when she said that her brother Hal would like to speak with me. I had a pleasant chat with both of them. Hal has much improved in general health the past two years. He was confined rather closely to the limits of his home in Jamaica Plain, but now his eyes are stronger, he has less nerve strain and he takes daily walks in good weather around the neighborhood.
Frank P. Brackett is in a private convalescent home in Los Angeles, Calif. His son Frank P. Brackett Jr. has reported to Mrs. Frances Shaw Loughlin, daughter of our deceased classmate Dr. George W. Shaw that his father is in good physical condition for his age, but his memory is failing; he does not receive callers.
Members of our class I know would like to send Dr. Brackett pleasing remembrances of our happy days at Dartmouth. He is resting from arduous duties as student, college professor, dean and acting president, with distinction in many scientific and educational fields of service.
