The first' general meeting following the undergraduate luncheon at Christmas was held at the Hotel Lenox, March 2. Among those present were: Ed Felt '18, Les Lambert '21, Her, Oliver 'as, Paul Venireman '26, John Cogswell '31, Lew Harriman '38, Charles French '38, Jack Cowan '40, Bill Hart '42, Fritz Geller '43, Rich Morgan '44, Frank Mace '45, Bob Anthony '45, Nelson Graves '50 and Al Peters '50. Dartmouth College Films' two new sound-color productions were shown. The response to the movies, My First Week atDartmouth and Dartmouth Outdoors, was very enthusiastic. It was decided that the club should purchase the latter film with the idea that it be used as an aid in development work among the secondary schools.
Bob Common '40 was chosen to head a schools committee. His job will be to promote more productive relationships between Dartmouth and the schools in this area. The competition for top-flight boys is intense. Start looking at the leading members of junior classes now and get in touch with Bob when you discover outstanding young men. We might even sneak a few athletes in for a change.
By the time you have read this you will have received information from Bill Hart '42 concerning our annual meeting. This year it will be held at the Hotel Markeen on Saturday, April 7. Cocktails will be served at seven, followed by dinner and dancing. The guest speaker is Donald W. Cameron '35, Associate in Placement with the Personnel Bureau.
There will be a Dartmouth Glee Club concert in the East Aurora High School auditorium on Friday, April 13.
