THE College was represented by fifteen alumni on academic occasions which took place during recent months.
L. Richard Dean '09 was present at the inauguration of Arthur Blair Knapp as 14th president of Denison University, Granville, Ohio, on October 12. Harold C. Parachini '37 attended the centennial exercises of St. Joseph's College in Philadelphia, October 26-28. On October 27 George Ehinger '15 represented the College at the inauguration of Daniel Zachary Gibson as 20th president of Washington College, Chestertown, Md.; and on the same date, Charles P. Baker Jr. '27 went to Lake Erie College, Painesville, Ohio, for the inauguration of Paul Stanley Weaver as 6th president. Ralph A. Loring '19 was present at the inauguration of Philip Grant Davidson, 14th president of the University of Louisville (Ky.), on October 3.

Lebeaux '35 at the inauguration of Richard Anderson Harvill as president of the University of Arizona, Tucson, November 16; Lenoir H. Cook '29 at the inauguration of William Russell Strassner as president of Shaw University, Raleigh, N. C., on November 16; Ralph A. Sawyer '15 at the inauguration of Harlan Henthorne Hatcher as 8th president of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, November 27; Winslow H. Loveland '14 at Founder's Day Convocation at Emerson College, Boston, on November 30; John D. Wright Jr. '42, at the inauguration of Frank A. Rose as president of Transylvania College, Lexington, Ky., on November 30; Alan R. Tawse '34, at the inauguration of M. Earle Collins as 7th president of Missouri Valley College, Marshall, Mo., on December 10; and Howard F. Mason '31 at the inauguration of Harold Eldred Hyde as president of Plymouth Teachers College (N. H.), December 14.
