Bill Towle had five days in London, four days in Rome and then on to Florence, Milan, and back to Paris and London. A wonderful trip.

Wright Hugus Jr. was married to Marie Elizabeth Wood, daughter of Mrs. Louis Francis Woods of Wheeling, West Va., on September 11, 1952, at the Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church in Wheeling. The Wright Huguses Sr. are well and happy.

Phil Randall, last July 12, was working in his office at four o'clock, even though a Saturday, and at quarter past six he was gone. Katherine Odell Randall is selling Phil's business at North Conway, an accounting business and a good tax business. Anyone interested can reach her at North Conway, N. H. Phil is also survived by his son Henry Harrison Randall II, two daughters, Mrs. David G. Sadis and Mrs. Paul D. Travis, and a granddaughter, Debra Rachel Travis.

The Milt Aronowitzs and Warde Wilkins were in Hanover in August and the RaeBronks in September, at the Inn. For the Holy Cross Game week end, Mr. and Mrs.Earl Bidwell, George and Helen Knight,Parker Trowbridge and Jack and Louise Nelson were in town.

We have a picture of Dave Adams taken when Ruth graduated from Mt. Holyoke. One of the great moments of David's life was when Ruth received her Phi Beta Kappa Key her junior year at Mt. Holyoke, as he had received it, you'll remember, in his junior year at Dartmouth in 1912. Ruth wore, for the occasion, the beautiful silver key presented Daniel Adams in 1797, at Dartmouth. On one corner of the old Key were Daniel Adams' initials, on another Charles Darwin Adams', David's father, then David's and on the fourth corner Ruth's. Ruth married Landon G. Rockwell '35.

At the Memorial Service, which David preferred, Patricia Reeve, President of the Class of 1951, spoke for the students and Dr. Alden Mosehammer, a cousin, beautifully conducted the service.

The Holyoke Transcript said editorially in part, "For those privileged to know Dr. Adams as a neighbor and citizen there was real inspiration. He preached and practiced the things of the spirit in terms the rest of us could understand and appreciate. An hour spent with him was an hour to think back to in later times. His passing, at 61, will bring a touch of grief into households as widely scattered as America itself."

Next issue will have Reunion news, names of chairman, committees and early plans. Have you paid your class dues to help on general preliminary expenses and the cost of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE?
