Glens Falls

Our group met for dinner at the Queensbury Hotel in Glens Falls on December 21. In spite of the bad weather, a considerable number of members were able to be present, and these were augmented by undergraduates and their fathers who were our guests.

Dugald Mac Arthur '52 was present with his father, Stanley Mac Arthur; Jim Wright '52 with his step-father, Thompson Griffin '23; Kirk Spurr '52 with his father, Orson K. Spurr; Bob Marrs '54 with his father, Fay Marrs; John Demas '55, and Art Mackey '55 with his father, A. J. Mackey.

George Davis '28, chairman of the enrolment committee, invited a group of local high school boys to meet with us. Our program, a showing of the film, My First Week at Dartmouth, was of special interest to them as well as to the undergraduates' fathers. On hand but not previously mentioned were Remsen '01, Shields '14, Higley '24, Peck '30, Bronk '38, Middleworth '39, Morse '41, Bullard '42, Clark '42, Jenkins '42, J. Higley '51, Smith '51, and Schreiner '51.
