REUNION AT HANOVER JUNE 13-15 In addition to those reported a month ago as attending the reunion at Tread's Royal Park Inn at Vero Beach, the Hulls and PopChesley arrived as predicted. The Bert Thorps stopped by for a few days earlier in March but could not stay for the reunion. Henry Stone and his wife, who have been spending the winter at St. Petersburg, spent one night at Vero. Some of the visitors played golf, others shuffle board, and some went to the beach. A number made a trip through the McKee Jungle Garden. The baseball games each afternoon attracted some. An all-day trip was made to Lake Wales and to the Bok Tower where the carillon concert was heard at noon. From there the party drove to Cypress Gardens, had a picnic lunch and watched the water skiing. Following this they took a boat trip through the Gardens. Each evening before dinner the group gathered in the Cocktail Lounge around the piano. Their singing of the old songs was enjoyed under the able direction of Tread. The highlight of the visit was Thursday evening, April 3. Cully Pierce '07 and Harry Johnson '04 were unanimously elected honorary members of the class. George Squier read an original poem. All agreed that the spring training trip will put all who attended in good shape for the reunion in June.

Art Rotch and Serena stopped in Manhattan the first week in April on the way home from Virginia Beach. Secretary Larry and his wife rounded up the John Thompsons and the Warren Curriers to join the Symmes' and Rotches for dinner one evening.

Warren Currier has accepted the job of Bequest Chairman for the class. He is now living at 15 Glen Road, Verona, N. J.

Tall Robbie Robinson from lowa, where the tall corn grows, was in Phoenix, Ariz., for two weeks early in April. He ran into Walter Rich, who has retired, and his wife. Walter has just bought a new house in Scotsdale, a suburb of Phoenix. Walter's son and family live there.

Honker Joyce had a letter from ChummyBills in March. Chummy had been in Florida for several weeks. Chummy confessed that he had been endeavoring to pick the winners at Hialeah and at Gulf Stream without much success. The Bills planned to leave Florida about April 15 to drive back to Buffalo.

Stanford Tappan called on Abe Lincoln in Fall River recently.

The names of the following men in the class appear in the 1958-53 edition of Who's Who: Blake, Chandler, Detlefsen, Hinman,Knight, Mason Lewis and Rugg.

Bill has made application for admission to Dartmouth in the Class of '73 and Deo at Al Dickerson and/or his successors Volente, as we who sat at the feet of Johnny K. Lord are wont to say it, will go to Hanover in the fall of '69. 1908 will be having its 65th reunion in June '73 when Bill graduates. The idem Deo at our arteries Volente—a few of us might be there.

The City Council at Ashland, Ky., following the death of Col. Peebles, passed a resolution which was recorded in the city records in which the Mayor and Commissioners complimented him at length and referred to Dick as one "highly regarded and beloved and who faithfully performed all public trusts."

Bant Blake was justifiably very proud of his family. Bant Jr. took his undergraduate work at Harvard and later received a Ph.D degree there in Physics. He and his daughter and son Bant III are now at the Research Institute in California. William D. Blake '40, who graduated from Harvard Medical School, is now assistant professor of Physiology at Yale Medical School and has two children. John 8., a graduate of Yale, is working on his Ph.D. degree in History this year. John and his family are living in Baltimore.

Doc White's older daughter Eleanor attended medical school and graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin. She gave up her profession to marry one of her professors. They now live at Moorhead, Minn., where her husband is on the faculty at Concordia College. They have three sons. Doc's youngest son attended the University of New Mexico and is in Government work at the White Sands Proving Grounds. His daughter Betty's husband is practicing medicine in Safford, Ariz. Florence White, Doc's widow, is living with them at present. Charles, the oldest son, has graduated from the Forestry School of the University of Minnesota. He went into private industry and is now secretary for the American Walnut Association in Chicago.
