The Dartmouth Club of Springfield, Vt., was indeed fortunate to entertain ArthurKiendl '44, the Assistant Dean of the College, at its spring meeting on April 23 at the Hartness House in Springfield.

The group were very much interested in hearing his report on the current problems of the undergraduates, and the ways in which those problems are being met co-operatively by the undergraduates and the administration. We were particularly interested to learn of his belief that there is a growing interest on the part of employers in men with a broad liberal arts training.

As usual, the long question period covered all phases of college life. This followed the formal report from Hanover.
