The undergraduate luncheon of the Dartmouth Club of Washington, D. C., held at the National Press Club December 30, proved to be one of the best events of the season. Former Secretary Barry Sullivan '36 was in charge of the affair. Many undergraduates and their fathers and prospective undergraduates from the Washington area attended. First-hand reports on Dartmouth and Hanover were given by representatives of each undergraduate class.

Dickson R. Loos '46 has been named chairman of the Club's enrollment committee, succeeding Oliver A. Quayle III '42 who is leaving Washington after many years of active work with the Club, to join the staff of Elmo Roper, noted public opinion pollster, in New York City. Donald H. C. MacKay '45, treasurer, will again head the interviewing committee, President F. Lowell Haas '35 has announced.

At least two well-known members of the Dartmouth family will be returning to Washington with the advent of the new administration. They are New Hampshire's Governor Sherman Adams '20, who has been named Assistant to the President, and Arthur H. VandenburgJr. '28. The Washington Club hopes to have both men as speakers and as frequent luncheon guests during the coming years.
