Our President, Dr. James M. O'Neill, noted lecturer, author and teacher, addressed the Catholic Women's Club recently in Syracuse, N. Y., on "Freedom of the Press and the Schools." It has been reported previously that Jim retired last June as Chairman of the Department of Speech at Brooklyn College. Though theoretically retired, he appears to be active and very much in demand as a lecturer.
Mrs. James C. Reilly has announced the engagement of her daughter Elizabeth to Mr. Franklin A. Steele of Pittsburgh. Miss Reilly was graduated from Rogers Hall, attended the College of St. Elizabeth in New Jersey, and is a graduate of Manhattanville College of the Sacred Heart. She is also editor of a column in the Lowell Sun. In all respects our classmate Jim's daughter is an attractive and talented young lady.

Do you remember that classmate Doc Foley from Alpena, Mich., received degrees, after leaving Dartmouth, from Purdue in 1907, from Indiana University in 1915 and from Columbia in 1917? In spite of his "foreign" alliances, he rarely misses a Dartmouth reunion.
