It must be a sign of old age that the months roll around so rapidly. Last fall we were looking into the dim future and making plans for the Dartmouth-Hofstra basketball game in Hempstead, Loiig Island, on March 6. By the time this issue of the MAGAZINE appears the big event will be almost upon us. We hope you've marked the date on your calendar.
A recent development is the possibility of having President Dickey with us that evening. We're looking forward to an enthusiastic Dartmouth turnout. Wives are invited, too.
We were glad to welcome two newcomers to our January meeting at Ort Hicks' home in Great Neck. One was Jim Smith '49, Ort Junior's ('49) roommate, who is now in the Air Corps, and Irv Kramer '32, who used to step along at a pretty fast pace on the basketball court. He still looks in trim shape. Each ticket bought for the basketball game and each advertisement in the program will help to swell our Scholarship Fund. Hope to see you there.
