A letter from Mrs. Jarvis advises that, "Billy has not been at all well, though he looks well, eats and sleeps well." Billy always did look well and we all hope that he will soon feel so. He is one of '93's most loved members.
Word from Frank Pelton, the only '93 man who is a year-round resident of Florida, indicates he is in good shape. He writes that while he cannot recall when he had an ache or a pain, he does not feel equal to any real work. Exercising his dog and puttering around his home seems to be his daily exercise. He likes to receive letters and he answers them promptly and interestingly. He advises that he has a grandson starting his third year in high school - 6 ft. 4 in. tall, wt. 200 lbs., and still growing, Frank fears. This boy should make a good basketball player. Frank's address is 338 SW 57 Ave., Miami, Fla.
The Aborns enjoyed a fine two weeks' Caribbean cruise on the luxury liner Silver Star early in January, visiting Santiago de Cuba: Panama; Baranquilla, Colombia; and Kingston, Jamaica. At all of these ports enjoyable entertainment was provided.
It must have been the flurry of preparing for this cruise which caused the class secretary to make the faux pas of stating that '93's 60th anniversary would be next year as it appeared in the January 1953 issue of this MAGAZINE. Of course, the notes were written and sent to the MAGAZINE late in December '952.
The reunion is to be June 12, 13, 14 this year. President Cox will advise us later about it, and, by the way, Guy writes from the Vendome, Commonwealth Ave., Boston, that he has disposed of his livestock at his "Chichester Brook Farm," Pittsfield, N. H. He seems to be in good spirits.
