Alumni Trustee

Sigurd S. Larmon '14, whose name went to the Trustees as the nominee of the Alumni Council, was elected an Alumni Trustee of the College for a second term of five years, at the Board's annual June meeting.

Mr. Larmon, who was recently appointed by President Eisenhower to the Committee on International Information Activities, an advisory group concerned with the unification of this country's psychological warfare, is chairman of the board and president of Young & Rubicam, Inc., advertising firm. He has served as president of the General Association of Dartmouth Alumni and of the Alumni Council, and as chairman of the Alumni Fund. He was the first chairman of the Dartmouth Development Council.
