I regret to have to report the death of Canty, who died July 13 after a long illness. That leaves six living graduates scattered from Massachusetts to California. As no one would take on the job of Class Agent, your Secretary tried to keep '90 in the running, and with the help of all but one contributing we made a good showing. The position is still open and any volunteer will receive a hearty welcome.
I had a note from Grover who is carrying on in his research, and a letter from Gerould who has recovered from his illness. He informs me that his daughter, Mrs. Anderson, has been appointed assistant librarian at the Cleveland Municipal Library.
A special thanks goes to the widows who contributed to the Fund and so reminded us of the classmates who are no longer with us, but whose memory will never die.
Your Secretary spent two weeks at Southport, Maine, this summer. If any of you want a vacation with plenty of lobsters I can give you an address.
Secretary and Treasurer South Acton, Mass.
