At the annual dinner of the Dartmouth Lawyers Association held at the Dartmouth Club in New York City in late spring, the Honorable Bruce Bromley of the New York Bar, formerly Associate Justice of the Court of Appeals of New York, was the principal speaker. He talked of his many experiences before investigating committees of Congress and of the New York State Legislature. John F. Meek '33, Vice President and Treasurer of the College, also spoke, making a hit with those who did not already know him and enhancing his already favorable impression on those of us who had previously met him.

Finally, Father William Nolan of Aquinas House told us of the work that is being done for Catholic, Protestant and Jewish students at Dartmouth. He made a fine impression upon his audience, which was interested in the subject he presented.

The meeting, which was attended by fifty members of the Association, was a very successful affair, made memorable by the very interesting and impressive addresses by the three talkers of the evening.

The officers of the Association for the coming year are: Roswell Magill '16, president; J. Newton Nash '20, vice president; John J. O'Connor Jr. '41, secretary. Executive committee: Austin C. Keough '11, Frederick S. Beebe '35, and Carlton C. Eldridge Jr. '44.
