The Dartmouth Club of Westchester held its annual dinner meeting on June 10 at the Shenorock Shore Club in Rye, N. Y.

Robert A. "Red" Rolfe '31, our new Director of Athletics, gave us a very frank analysis of the Dartmouth athletics situation and we were encouraged to hope for better won-and-lost averages in the future. There can be no doubt about this old pro's desire to win. John Glover '55, all-American swimmer and team captain this coming year, addressed his remarks to our guests - the 24 entering freshmen who will be the Westchester entry in the Class of 1959. Our retiring president, Edwin B.Dooley '26, was presented with a silver bowl in recognition of his service to the Club during the past year.

A report of the scholarship committee disclosed that a $1,000 scholarship will be available next year, having been subscribed to by a group of Westchester alumni. The newly activated enrollment committee should turn up many fine candidates for this award. Art Allen '32 is to be thanked for organizing the enrollment committee's activities. Among the 150 members who attended the dinner were Trustee of the College, Sigurd S. Larmon '14 and former Dean L. K. Neidlinger '23, who has recently established residence in Bronxville, N. Y.

The Club's plans for next year include an appearance of the Glee Club in Westchester during the winter. This event should be well attended and thus add considerably to our scholarship potential.

The following were elected to office for the coming year: Arthur E. Allen Jr. '32 - President; John E. Masten '33 - Vice President; and William H. Gray '42 - Secretary-Treasurer.

AT THE PHILADELPHIA PICNIC theswimming pool was popular with Club officers. L to r: Bill Miller '46, secretary; BuckMansfield '44, president; and Ed Byrkit '47,treasurer.
