The Class of '07 has lost one more of its members, a man whose great qualities and talents are widely recognized. Dr. Charles McKendree died at the home of his son in Greenwich, Conn., on September 10. A classmate who knew Charlie longer and more intimately than most, writes: "What a great and good man." All '07 men will recall how tirelessly Charlie worked to finance his college education, and all will be proud of his outstanding success in his chosen field of medicine. During recent years, Charlie experienced a succession of physical setbacks, including partial paralysis, but his courage was unshaken. This classmate was a great guy. Read about his accomplishments and honors in the In Memoriam column of this issue.
