Robert, son of Bill Rex, won his numerals in freshman football last fall. Bob, who stands 5' 11" and weighs 180 pounds, is a quarterback. He prepared at Governor Dummer Academy.

It is a reasonable assumption that the following December guests at the Hanover Inn were present at the game dedicating the artificial ice at the hockey rink: Walt Sands, EdPullen, Killy Kilmarx and Paul Peters.

Returned from a series of European concerts, pianist Andrew Heath Jr. is engaged in advance music studies at Yale.

Red Boyd was one of the delegates from Tennessee in attendance last November at the Southeastern Dartmouth Conference which was sponsored by the Alumni Council for the dual purpose of strengthening regional alumni organization and interesting more southern boys in the College. Red is an ex-member of the Alumni Council.

A group picture taken at the recent convention of the Michigan Tobacco and Candy Distributors Association was clipped and forwarded by my Detroit scout. Prominent in the picture was that Association's president, Roy Ball.

Frank Horan had the opportunity last fall to become acquainted with Pavita, the 29- year-old son of Don Donavanik. He came to the United States for business experience after a year at Pitman, a school of business in London, and Frank was instrumental in getting him placed for a period in the Foreign Department of The Chase National Bank. Originally headed for the field of medicine, Pavita's education plans were badly disrupted by the war, the duration of which he spent in the Siamese underground movement. Through the son, Frank learned much about Don's career and about Don's experiences, many of which have been rugged. At one time he was Finance Minister of Siam and now is chairman of a bank while serving as financial adviser to his government. During the political upheaval before the war, Don was twice jailed and tried. He was confined in jail for six months at one time and for eight months at another time. During the war their home in Bangkok was bombed, forcing Don and his wife to move into the country. The Donavaniks have five children, two boys and three girls. Pavita's brother and one of his sisters are studying in Australia.

Al Acker is the proprietor of the Sea Island Inn Motor Court on U. S. 17 near Hardeeville, S. C., a good thing to remember if you happen to be touring in that area.

Gene and Nettie Hotchkiss came East for a visit that was timed to include the Princeton game. They came for a few days in Boston after Thanksgiving. We were able to round up the following to greet Gene and Nettie at a cocktail party at the Bullen home: Fran Leland (Lucy was entertaining guests at home - Fran sneaked away just long enough to drop in), Walt and Doris Sands, Al andHort Crampton, Haskell and Harriett Cohn,Carroll and Nan Dwight, Carter and AllieHoyt, Len and Margaret Morrissey.

The Sands, Dwights and Bullens procured a block of tickets for Guys and Dolls during its run in Boston recently. We were completely entranced by the performance of lovely Susan Hight in the role of Sarah, the Mission Girl. It is easy to imagine how proud Bob and Alma must be of such a talented daughter.

Remember that the weekend of March 12-14 will be the occasion of an informal 1922 gathering in Hanover. Rooms at the Inn are being held for it, but bear in mind that you have to make your own applications for them. Some of us already have made our reservations and we hope many others will follow suit. It should have a particular appeal for couples who have sons at Dartmouth, but the experience at the similar party last year lets us assure you it will be fun whether or not you are in the enviable position of having an undergraduate son. If you plan to attend this get-together, and it is hoped you do, will you advise your secretary. The information will be helpful in the planning. If you go you will find it a restful and pleasant experience.
