The North Jersey Club entertained almost 100 newly accepted Dartmouth freshmen and their parents in the ballroom of the Hotel Suburban in East Orange, Tuesday, May 11. Movies, including "My First Week at Dartmouth" and "Dartmouth Outdoors" were shown. Later, the guests enjoyed refreshments and had a chance to ask alumni members present a thousand and one questions about life in Hanover.

The Annual Freshmen's Reception has become a very popular affair for us and this one was no exception.

Our members are now planning for the final event of the season - the annual picnic. The get-together will be on Saturday afternoon, June 5, and once again Bill Blanchard '30 will be our host at his lovely country home in New Vernon. Wives, kids, dates and friends are all invited and there will be plenty of hot dogs, hamburgers and liquid refreshments on hand for all at a very modest tab.
