Jack Wallace reports that he is still enjoying his retirement from business and that Mrs. Wallace and he are blessed with pretty good health. Bill Walker is rejoicing over his im proved physical condition and permission to drive his car. Herb Mitchell visited Maine in August, shot a round of 90, believe it or not, - and feels "like a young colt." What's your prescription, Herb?

A year ago your secretary received a note from Miss Annah Hazen from Woodstock, Vt. She writes that her interest in Dartmouth and '67 will never fade away. Her brother was Dick Hazen '07, "In two years," she wrote, "there will be another Richard Hazen enrolled in Dartmouth, I hope."

Ben Washburn, Harper Hitching, CharlieWing, and Mr. and Mrs. George Liscomb visited Hanover during the summer.

Norman Cushman doesn't talk about himself as much as your secretary would wish. He is, of course, a most devoted classmate and a leading citizen in his home communities. Madeline and he make their homes in Winchester, Mass., and in Rye, N. H. Norman is one of a very few men who was able, prior to retirement, to extract a profit from a cotton textile business. Now, we understand, he has become the billiard champion of the Union Club in Boston. Another praiseworthy avocation is his official status as father confessor and frater in urbe to a number of old ladies in the Home for the Aged in Winchester. A trustee of the Winchester Savings Bank for many years, Norman has recently been elected vice president. Both Madeline and Norman have suffered physical disabilities within the year, but both have made excellent recoveries.

Harry McDevitt has now been patched up after having enjoyed (?) two surgical operations during the spring and summer, and he looks, acts and feels better than ever. He can hardly wait to get to '07's Fiftieth, - and he hopes all who read this will be there, too!

Elizabeth and Judge McLane entertained a group of '07 men who live in southern New Hampshire at their Manchester, N. H., home last May. Bill Ahem, Elwin Cutts, Bob Kenyon, Merton Knapp, Walter Nesmith, and their wives were the guests.

Lucy and Dick Lane enjoyed a fishing holiday early in September on First Connecticut Lake in northern New Hampshire. An extra dividend was a call on Bremer Pond, whose retirement home overlooks the beautiful lake, and on Mrs. Parker Tabor, whose home is in nearby Pittsburg, N. H.

A meeting of '07 officers will be held in Hanover early in October. Its purpose is to develop plans for '07's Fiftieth. Look for a report later.

Three cheers for Phil Chase, Alumni Fund Agent, and his able group of Regional Assistant Agents, for their fine accomplishment during the spring campaign, when '07 advanced from fifth to third place in its class, which spans 1905 to 1913.
