Hanover Holiday - 1955! A last-minute bonus for the Windy City Indians gathered at the University Club on January 29 was the appearance of our new football coach, Robert L. Blackman. The press had a field day interviewing the new coach and all greatly enjoyed his first Big Green after-dinner talk. A good crowd attended the afternoon lectures of Virgil Poling and Professor Adams and this year we were again privileged to have President Dickey with us for the dinner meeting. The filet mignon and the get-together after dinner completed another successful Hanover Holiday program.

Jay Buck '50 well deserved the congratulations of all for the grand job done as entertainment chairman. Among the many putting in a first appearance at a Windy City gathering were Jack Barr '49, Gus Wedell '54 and Ort Hicks '49. Some of the out-of-towners were Major Bird '23, from Adrian, Mich., BillKnight 'OB, and Bill Jr. '49, both of Rockford.

Your new officers - Just in A. Stanley '33, president; Jay K. Buck '50, secretary; and Robert T. Mortimer '47, treasurer, were elected at the Hanover Holiday business meeting. Kenneth F. Montgomery '25 was nominated for the District III representative on the Alumni Council to succeed Henry S. Embree '30, who has served two terms and is not eligible for reelection.

Don't forget the Glee Club Concert on April 1. Plans indicate that this will be the greatest Glee Club gathering in the country. We'll look for you before then at the regular Monday luncheons at the Stevens Building Restaurant, 17 N. State St.
