The Dartmouth Club of Burlington, Vt., held its first meeting of the season on the night of November 5 at the Olde Board in South Burlington. Forty persons attended, including the ladies. Dinner was preceded by cocktails in the lounge.

Prof. Myron E. Witham '04 was the guest of honor. Using the format of "This is Your Life," Hy Abraham '16 did a very effective presentation of the highlights of the long and interesting career of the professor.

Associate Dean Arthur Kiendl '44 made the trip from Hanover to be the principal speaker. Dean Kiendl spoke on "Dartmouth Today and Tomorrow." His discussion of future plans and policies proved to be very interesting.

Officers for the coming season were elected. Harold C. Avery '19 was elected president; Robert F. Thompson '34 is the new vice president; and John D. Everatt '49, the secretary-treasurer. A committee was appointed to study the condition of the state Alumni Association now existing.

Les Richwagen '23 suggested a Dartmouth table at the Hotel Vermont for one luncheon a month. This is being considered.

This dinner meeting was the first of its type in recent years. It was enthusiastically received and more are expected in the near future.

We think we have a list of all the Dartmouth men in the Burlington area. If we have omitted your name from our mailing list, please notify the club secretary.
