The Dartmouth Club of Westchester held its annual spring dinner meeting at Shenorock Shore Club in Rye, N. Y., on June 6. As in the past, the most important feature of the evening was getting to know the Westchester boys who had been accepted for admission this fall.

Jack Masten '33, Vice President and Enrollment Chairman, introduced the Class of 1960 Westchester delegation. Thirty-one out of forty were able to attend with their fathers and I am sure it was as memorable an occasion for them as it was for us. We think this group is the finest delegation from Westchester schools to enter any college this fall.

Succeeding Jack Masten as Enrollment Chairman will be Charlie McAllister '31. He accepted a formidable challenge to keep up the trend of progress made to date and we know Charlie will be successful. If any of you know of a young high school boy who should consider Dartmouth, contact the enrollment man in your locality and give him assistance in acquainting this boy with the advantages of going to Dartmouth.

The Enrollment Committee is as follows: Edwin B. Dooley '26, Mamaroneck; Harry H. Enders '29, Bronxville; Patrick Gorman '38, Rye; Richard G. Holbrook '31, Bedford Village; James K. Huntington Jr. '49, New Rochelle; William R. Jessup '30, Chappaqua; Charles S. McAllister '31, Scarsdale; William L. McCallum '50, Dobbs Ferry; Fred P. MacKenzie '24, Pelham; Charles A. Schneider '31, Scarsdale; Harold M. Sherman Jr. '29, Larchmont; and J. V. Slattery '32, Tuckahoe.

Retiring President Jack Hubbell '21, conducted the meeting and when the new slate of officers and directors was elected, RoilyMorton '34, presented Jack with a silver bowl to express the Club's appreciation for his fine and successful efforts during the past year.

Our first guest speaker from Hanover was Coach Bob Blackman. He gave us a glowing report of success of the national enrollment activity in his behalf and gave ample evidence that he spends little or no time in Hanover, except during the football season. Dean Joseph Mac Donald concluded our program. He gave us an insight into the successful operation of the new Student Government and talked for some time about the overcrowding which will exist in the dormitories this year because of the very high acceptance ratio which surprised the Admissions Office. Also, he told us about the building program involving new dormitories and the Hopkins Center.

Walter Humphrey '14 brought his Octet, the "Humdingers," who gave us an interlude of Dartmouth favorites. This music was greatly appreciated.

New officers for the coming year and directors for a three-year term were elected as follows: President, John E. Masten '33, Rye; Vice Presidents, John V. Crandall '40, Bronxville; and Charles S. McAllister '31, Scarsdale; Secretary-Treasurer, William H. Gray '42, Pelham Manor. Directors — Martin J. Dwyer Jr. '34, Pleasantville: Charles S. Feeney '43, Scarsdale; William R. Jessup 30, Chappaqua; Thomas Lane '35, Harrison; Fred P. MacKenzie '24, Pelham.
