Ned Kenerson wrote from Hanover where he was attending the Estate Planning Conference. He called on Harry Watson and said Harry was sailing next day (about September 14) for England, as a start for a trip around the world. After England he is going to Australia and New Zealand and from there by plane to Hawaii, visits on the west coast and to see his daughter in New Mexico.
Kenie called on Mrs. Ray Brown and found Mrs. "Tink" Erwin and daughter Elizabeth there. He reported them carrying on with good courage.
Mrs. "Queechie" Safford has been at the Hanover Inn about all summer. Mr. and Mrs. Kid Cohen were at the Inn in August.
A new address for Dr. Gregory N. Abdian - c/o H. G. Abdian, Comptroller Div., Hq. U.S. Eucom, APO 128, New York, N. Y. If anyone knows anything about Abdian we would be glad to hear. He has paid no attention to communications from way back in Ned Burbeck's time.
Bill Cunningham had a column from Han- over, September 20, when the freshmen were coming to town, about 813 of them. He commented on the fact that many fathers and mothers were there. Quite a change from our time.
At the State Hospital in Concord, N. H., on September 20 the establishment of a laboratory for bio-chemical research was announced, made possible through the Harriet M. Spaulding trust fund. It has been named the Arthur P. Noyes Institute for neuropsychiatry research in honor of Dr. Arthur P. Noyes '03, there cited by Superintendent Dr. Earl K. Holt for his insight and influence in the field of psychiatric care. Dr. Noyes is superintendent of the State Hospital at Norristown, Pa., and past president of the American Medico-Psychological Association.
