Special report to those heading North for vacation skiing: Don Cutter has been named manager of the Okemo Mountain, Inc., ski area in Ludlow, Vt. While this does not assure you of excellent snow conditions, it does mean that your welcome will be warm, fraternal, and friendly. Don, as you may know, has made a career of skiing, and brings many years of experience to his new position. He was a member of the Vermont Academy ski team for three years before coming to Dartmouth, and was on the Dartmouth team for two. He coached the Hanover High School Ski Team for four years, winning state titles, one New England, and two Eastern titles during this period. He is a certified U.S.E.A.S.A. Ski Coach and a European ski instructor with international recognition. Recalled to active duty by the Army in 1951, Don was assigned to Garmisch, Germany, for three and a half years as director of winter sports and officer in charge of the recreation program for the U. S. Army Leave and Rest Center, European Command. As Winter Sports Director he was responsible for the entire winter sports program, including maintenance and operation of fourteen ski lifts. He was also in charge of eighteen instructors in the Garmisch school. So ...if experience means anything, Don has it, and Okemo Mountain is a spot worth trying. Shake the dust off the old "boards" and get going.

1945's undergraduate representation is no more. Bill Hemphill, sheepskin in hand, is off into the wide, wide world. Here's a guy to whom a Dartmouth degree means a good deal. Hats off to Bill's desire, determination, and perseverance. He's got it. New address is 304 W. Washington Ave., Kennett, Mo.

Johnny Halstead has been appointed executive director of the Development Fund at Radcliffe College, a fund established to survey the financial needs of the school for the next ten years and to enlist the support of individuals, corporations, and foundations. John, as you probably remember, is a candidate for a Doctor's degree in history at Harvard.

Bachelor's Club notice: Announcing the nuptials of John T. Bressler and Miss Frances Louise Adams of Evanston, Ill., on November 30. Watch out, John McCauley, Mo Frye, and Frank Mace. It can happen to you.

A short note from "judge" Joe Michaels in reply to an inquiry as to business states, "As for business in the legal profession, it never has been so good, and I never have had more people owe me money than they do today. Haven't had many exciting cases, but those come in the winter when the folk up North don't have anything to do but get in trouble." Next case.

It is with great sadness and sorrow that I must report the death of Charles Carroll Morgan on October 23 of cancer. In this Christmas season when remembrance and giving are so much with us, the memory of "Chuck" is strong; and so it shall ever be. For in the Dartmouth fellowship there is no forgetting. The bonds of friendship remain ever present and enduring. The associations and their memories are lasting even in death.

Merry Christmas to you all and may the new year bring happiness and health, peace and prosperity, to all of 1945's great family.
