Grand Rapids

On Thursday evening December 29, our club had a most successful cocktail party at the University Club of Grand Rapids. Alumni from all of western Michigan were invited, but seems only the Grand Rapids group could make it and no doubt mostly due to subfreezing temperatures.

A very informal and brief meeting was held for election of officers for 1956. Elected unanimously were Phil Goodspeed, president; Ted Uhl, treasurer; and Ed Brunhoff, secretary.

Attending the cocktails and buffet were; Phil Goodspeed, and with their wives, Jim Wendel, John Martin, Marsh Belding, Howard Frisbie, Dale Van Otteran, Sam Dix, Sid French, Jim Idima, Buzz Duffield, Cliff Harold, and Ed Brunhoff.
